Against The Empire (ATE) is a revolutionary anti-colonial internationalist Marxist-Leninist organisation that seeks to align the oppressed masses and working class with the Indigenous Nations we occupy. Our aim is to empower and enable the masses to support bringing dignity to the people and land, to give allegiance, and promote official recognition, nationhood, self-determination, and liberation to all occupied Indigenous Nations, through complete revolutionary social transformation and land reform, which we believe can only be brought about by Indigenous sovereignty, and the unified masses of working class people organised, and acting collectively, under the banner of Marxism-Leninism, the ideology and language of the international proletariat.

As an organisation, and as workers, students and comrades, we swear allegiance to the Indigenous Nations whose lands we occupy, and we intend to serve it with the highest level of integrity, discipline, and transparency, while remaining true to the science of Marxism-Leninism and class struggle. We understand that the only way forward is together, with a positive and compassionate anti-colonial revolutionary spirit, tempered with iron clad discipline, and a political vessel of a very specific type. We are an organisation specifically of Marxism-Leninism, aiming to combat colonial chauvinism within the settler community in Australia while providing material support and practical solidarity to the Indigenous Nations we occupy.

ATE is devoted to revolutionary systemic social change, and to the spirit of anti-colonial action, Land Back, and a return to Indigenous land management. Against The Empire presents itself as a principled organisation for the settler community to join for the purpose of bridging gaps, developing relationships based on anti-colonial, anti-imperialist and anti-capitalist resistance, and repairing the damage done by colonial chauvinism and racism on this continent and abroad.
